Delete your account

Two ways to do it. The first takes about ten seconds and needs nothing from us.

In the app

  1. Open Daky AI and go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to Account.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm. The account is erased immediately.

By email

If you cannot get into the app — you lost the phone, or you cannot sign in — email [email protected] from the address the account is registered to and ask us to delete it.

We reply within 30 days, and usually much sooner. We will ask for nothing beyond the email itself: sending from the registered address is what identifies you, and we will never ask for your password.

What gets deleted

Immediately and permanently, with no recovery period:

Data What happens
Your account Email address, display name, language setting — erased.
Conversations Every thread and every message in it — erased.
Credits The balance and its history — erased. Unused credits are not refundable, since they were not bought.
Sign-in sessions Every device is signed out. A linked Google identity is unlinked.

What is not ours to delete

Your résumé draft stays on your phone. It was never sent to us — the builder runs entirely on the device — so deleting your account does not touch it. Remove it from inside the résumé builder, or uninstall the app.

The downloaded offline model stays on your phone until you remove it in Settings or uninstall the app.

One exception, and why

If you have reported an AI reply as harmful, that report is kept without your account attached to it. A report that vanished when its author left would let a genuinely harmful answer go unreviewed, so the report survives and the link to you does not.

Backups

Deleted data is gone from the live service at once. Encrypted database backups are kept for up to 30 days for disaster recovery and are overwritten on that schedule; nothing is restored from them except to recover from a failure of the service itself.
