Privacy policy
What we collect, what never leaves your phone, who else sees it, and how to get rid of it.

Who runs Daky AI
Daky AI is made and run by Abdelaziz Hadiat Allah, an individual developer based in Casablanca, Morocco. There is no company behind it.
For anything in this policy — a question, a request for your data, or a complaint — write to [email protected]. That address reaches one person, and it is the only channel; there is no support desk.
What we collect
| Data | Why | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | To identify your account and let you sign in. | Until you delete the account. |
| Display name, language | To address you and answer in the right language. | Until you delete the account. |
| Password | Stored only as an argon2id hash. We cannot read it or recover it. | Until you delete the account. |
| Your messages and the replies | To show you the conversation when you come back, and to give the assistant context. | Until you delete the conversation or the account. |
| Credit balance and history | To meter free use and to credit rewarded ads. | Until you delete the account. |
| Advertising identifier | Used by Google AdMob to show and measure ads. Collected by Google, not by us. | Per Google's policy. |
| Server logs | Errors and request timings, for keeping the service working. They carry a request id and an account id, not message content. | 30 days. |
What never leaves your phone
This is the part worth reading, because it is unusual and it is deliberate.
- Your résumé. The résumé builder runs entirely on the device. Your name, phone number, address and employment history are saved in the phone's encrypted storage and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. The PDF is generated on the phone. We could not show you your own résumé if you asked us to.
- Offline answers. When the downloaded model answers, the question and the answer stay on the device. Nothing is sent.
- Your password. Only a hash of it is stored, and a hash cannot be turned back into the password.
Who else sees your messages
To produce a reply, the text of your conversation is sent to an AI provider. Today that is:
- Groq — the usual provider for replies.
- Google (Gemini API) — used when Groq is unavailable. Content sent to Google's free API tier may be used by Google to improve their products. If that is not acceptable to you, do not use chat; the toolbox and the offline model do not send anything.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your conversations to train any model of our own.
Ads
Ads are served by Google AdMob and only ever as a rewarded video you choose to watch. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you will be asked for consent before any personalised ad is requested, and you can change that choice at any time. Google's own partner policy covers what it collects.
Children
Daky AI is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, the UK, or another place with comparable law, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Erasure is built into the app — Settings → Delete account — and takes effect immediately. For the rest, write to [email protected] and we will answer within 30 days.
Our legal basis for handling your account data is performing the contract you entered into by creating an account; for ads and analytics it is your consent, which you can withdraw.
Where the data lives
Daky's own server is in Germany. The AI providers named above process your messages on their own infrastructure, which is outside Morocco and may be outside your own country. Using Daky means accepting that your messages are sent there to be answered.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app will say so before the change applies. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
